The Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness (SHEA) Gas scheme has been developed in collaboration with industry to ensure a consistent approach to health, safety, and environmental awareness across the gas sector. This training aligns with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidelines and is essential for anyone requiring access to operational sites within the gas industry, including operatives, supervisors, and managers.

What You’ll Learn: The SHEA Gas scheme consists of 9 modules:

• Modules 1-6: Core health, safety, and environmental knowledge, applicable across all utility industries.
• Modules 14-16: Specific to the UK Gas Industry, focusing on the unique health and safety requirements of gas operations.

The course covers vital topics to ensure you understand workplace safety laws and best practices. By completing all 9 modules, you'll demonstrate your knowledge, awareness, and understanding of health and safety in the gas industry.

CSCS Partner: The SHEA Gas scheme is recognised by the CSCS Alliance, providing gas industry workers with access to construction sites for utilities work.

Training & Assessment: We offer two training options:

• Remote/e-Classroom via Zoom: Flexible online training with live instruction from our expert trainers.

Upon successful completion of the training and assessment, you will receive a SHEA Gas EUSR registration, which is valid for five years.

Full attendance is required to pass the course. If your internet connection fails for an extended period or repeatedly, you may not be allowed to re-join unless it is restored within 5 minutes. This ensures the learning experience for other participants is not disrupted.

SHEA Gas is a 7-hour course that can be completed in a full day or split across two evenings, consisting of 9 modules, each with a short multiple choice assessment.

EUSR registration for SHEA Gas is for five years from the date of assessment.
